I saw this at Brockworth Court today. I have no idea what it is. The flowers are similar to Achillea but the leaves are not. There was no scent. It was 120 – 140 cm tall.

Dear David, I think the plant is Filipendula. I have F. Ulmaria and F. Variagata and they seed about the garden very freely.

I was going to say Filipendula as well, I think I have one in the garden but its not flowering yet. We so need rain
